Criminal Injuries Compensation
If you have suffered an injury or some other form of loss as a direct result of a criminal act you may be entitled to claim compensation.
If you are unable to claim against the person who committed the act then you may be able to make a claim against the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority which is a state funded body intended to provide compensation to those who have suffered as a result of a criminal act when compensation would otherwise not be available for whatever reason.
Our lawyers can assist you in making such a claim.
Please contact our office right away to discuss your entitlement to such a claim and to find out how we can assist you.
There are a number of funding options available and you will not be asked to make any upfront payment. If we are unable to assist you in recovering compensation you will not pay us anything.
Normally if we are successful in securing compensation for you then our fees will be paid, in part, by the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority and in part out of your compensation. However, you will know, in advance, exactly how much of your compensation, if any, you will lose in relation to our fees.
